KLUTZY  TRAVELER

I am a super klutz and a cohesive mess!  I don't think I've ever come back from a trip without at least a few bruises!  All part of the fun though, a vacation without a couple minor mishaps would be a boring one indeed ;-)

 

I love traveling, I always have something in the works or I tend to go stir crazy.  My goal here is to provide travel advice and recommendations for the novice traveler and tips and tricks that even a highly experienced traveler can use ;-)

 

Plus packing tips, my favourite lightweight travel gear, advice on budget traveling, and information on volunteering overseas.

I am obsessed with lightweight and carryon travel.  I have only checked a bag once of my own accord in the last 10 years (and that was partly because I wanted to bring crampons with me - basically ice pick shoe covers - and you can't put those in your carryon bag).  I will be sharing advice on how to keep your bag weight down and for minimalist packing, including how to travel for three weeks (or more) with only a backpack.  Plus tidbits of information and things to do from places I have been.
